Inspired by Yuming's classic song "Yasashisa ni Tsutsumareta Nara," Yasashisa ni Tsutsumareta Nara captures the delicate balance between concrete reality and dream-like unreality, and explores the feeling of being enveloped in kindness and the magic that lurks in the everyday.
The sunlight streaming through the window and the arrangement of the flowers represent the fresh air and warm sunshine we get when we open the window in the morning. The gardenia flower depicted in the center, its pure white appearance expresses the gentleness and scent of memories. The transparent layers also blur the boundary between reality and fantasy, and just as the song encourages us to see the world from a perspective of gentleness and wonder, this work offers a similar experience.
